Trafficure · Engagement

How a city gets started

Trafficure is a subscription, not a build. There is no hardware to buy, no construction, and no annual maintenance contract. You choose the engagement path that fits how your agency already works, and you are reading your own roads on a live command centre within weeks.

The model

A subscription, scoped to your roads

Trafficure is software, delivered as a subscription. There is no camera capex, no roadside hardware, no civil construction and no annual maintenance contract to renew. You pay for access to a live command centre over your own network, and the scope is set by how much of that network you want to watch.

That scope is measured precisely. Your road network is selected through Google's Roads Selection API, so the subscription is sized to the corridors and lane-kilometres you actually operate. A state road authority covering tens of thousands of lane-kilometres carries a different scope than a tier-2 city covering a few hundred. The principle is the same in both cases: you subscribe to the roads you run, and nothing more.

What the subscription covers

One layer over your existing operations

  1. 01

Zero capex · Nothing to buy and install

No cameras, no sensors and no civil works. The intelligence is delivered as software over Google Maps Roads Management Insights data, so a deployment is a subscription, not a construction project.

  2. 02

No hardware · No field assets to maintain

Because there is no roadside equipment, there is no annual maintenance contract and no replacement cycle for failed units. The platform stays current without a truck roll.

  3. 03

Scoped scale · Sized to your network

The Roads Selection API defines exactly which roads are in scope. The subscription scales with that selection, so the commercial model maps directly to the size of the network you operate.

  4. 04

Live command centre · Read your own roads from day one

What you subscribe to is a working command centre: monitoring, alerts, analytics and reports over your live network, not a data feed you still have to build a product on top of.

Three ways to start

Pick the path that fits your agency

The data subscription comes from Google's Roads Management Insights, and the activation layer that turns it into a command centre comes from Lepton. Because Lepton is the authorized RMI reseller in India and the UAE, both can be procured together, separately, or through the system integrator you already work with. Three paths cover how cities most often get started.

  1. 01

Path A · Buy the data and the layer together

The most direct route. Lepton supplies both the RMI data subscription and the Trafficure activation layer under one engagement, so there is a single relationship to manage from procurement to production. The activation layer is the part that would otherwise take months to engineer in house. Delivered together, the path runs four to eight weeks from signature to a production command centre over your network.

  2. 02

Path B · Partner-led through your system integrator

If your agency already procures technology through a system integrator, Trafficure can be delivered inside that relationship. Your SI manages the engagement and the contract you are used to, while Lepton supplies the activation layer and the RMI subscription behind it.

  3. 03

Path C · Activate an RMI subscription you already hold

If you have already subscribed to Google's Roads Management Insights, the data is in place but it arrives as raw tables and feeds, not a usable command centre. Trafficure activates that subscription into live monitoring, alerts, analytics and reports in two to four weeks.

How fast

Signature to live, measured in weeks

Whichever path you take, getting started is measured in weeks, not the years a tendered camera programme runs. The data has been continuously available since 2009 and the platform is software, so there is no procurement of physical assets to wait on.

4–8 weeksfrom signature to a production command centre, buying the data and activation layer together
2–4 weeksto activate an RMI subscription you already hold into a live command centre
Zerocapex, hardware and AMC, because Trafficure is software over Google Maps data

Signature to live

From signature to live in weeks.

Scope the network you operate, deploy the activation layer over your roads, and go live on a working command centre. No hardware to install along the way, because the whole journey is software over data that is already there.

Total cost of ownership

How a subscription compares to a camera programme

A camera-based intelligent traffic management system is a capital programme. It carries a large upfront capex line and an ongoing annual maintenance contract on the field equipment, and it covers the junctions where the cameras sit. Trafficure is a different shape of cost: an operating subscription, with no capex and no maintenance contract, covering the whole road network rather than a set of instrumented points.

The two are complementary, not interchangeable. A camera ITMS does junction enforcement and number-plate recognition that probe data does not; Trafficure watches the roads between and beyond the junctions. Where agencies have run before-and-after analysis on Trafficure, the operating subscription has typically sat well below the lifetime cost of a comparable camera programme, though the right comparison always depends on your network and your existing assets. We scope that against your actual roads rather than promise a fixed number.

Proof

Cities already running this way

Trafficure is not a pilot concept. It is live across multiple Indian city and police jurisdictions, deployed as a subscription on each agency's own road network, with Pune City Traffic Police as the flagship and Google India as the data partner behind the platform.
