Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser storage) used on leptonsoftware.com, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Browser storage works in a similar way. They let a site remember your choices and measure how it is used. Cookies set by the site you visit are "first-party". Cookies set by another company's service on that site are "third-party".
2. The categories we use
- Essential: needed for the site and its forms to work, and to remember your cookie choice. These are always on.
- Functional: remember a choice you make, such as language. Set only when you use that feature.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): help us understand how visitors use the site. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland they are set only if you choose "Accept all". Elsewhere they are on unless you choose "Essential only". Without consent, Google Analytics receives anonymous, cookieless signals only.
- Session replay (Microsoft Clarity): heatmaps and recordings of how pages are used, with text masked. Set only if you choose "Accept all".
- Advertising (LinkedIn): measure our LinkedIn campaigns. Set only if you choose "Accept all".

Our chat box does not set cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address but does not set cookies.
4. How to control cookies
- On this site: use the cookie banner. To change your choice later, reset your cookie choice and the banner will appear again.
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
- Google Analytics: Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.
