We already have a GIS, why NetworkAccess?

A GIS tells you where your assets are. NetworkAccess manages inventory, serviceability, capacity and operations, the day-to-day questions a GIS was never built to answer, like whether a port is free or whether you can connect the customer who just called. We already have inventory systems, do we need another one?
