Account Manager (Government & Public Sector Liaison)

We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected individual to develop and nurture relationships with Traffic Police Departments, State & City Police Agencies, and Transit Authorities. The goal is to facilitate information collection, collaboration, and digital dissemination of traffic and public safety data to a wider audience. The ideal candidte will have prior experience working with or within government agencies, a strong understanding of public sector processes, and the ability to build long-term partnerships.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY

Develop strategic relationships with Traffic Police Departments, Police Agencies, Transit Authorities, and other relevant government bodies.
Serve as the primary liaison between Lepton Software and these agencies, understanding their needs and challenges.
Facilitate data collection and collaboration to ensure real-time or periodic information updates on traffic, road conditions, and public safety.
Work with internal teams to help integrate agency data into Lepton’s solutions and ensure its effective dissemination.
Assist in creating MoUs, agreements, and partnerships with different agencies.
Advocate for technology adoption within government agencies by demonstrating the value of Lepton’s solutions.
Travel extensively across North India to meet with officials, conduct presentations, and strengthen relationships.
Represent Lepton Software in meetings, conferences, and industry events related to smart city initiatives, law enforcement, and transportation.
Work closely with the sales, product, and marketing teams to align government partnerships with business objectives.
Stay updated with government policies, tenders, and regulatory frameworks related to GIS, smart cities, traffic management, and law enforcement.

Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 – 10 years of experience in government relations, business development, public sector engagement, or working directly with law enforcement, traffic, or transit agencies.
Government Exposure: Prior experience working with or within traffic police, police departments, or transport authorities is highly preferred.
Networking Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior officials, decisionmakers, and government stakeholders.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in English & Hindi (
Understanding of Public Sector Processes: Knowledge of bureaucratic procedures, approvals, policy frameworks, and regulatory compliance in India.
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively.
Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with GIS, mapping solutions, smart city technologies, or public safety applications is a plus.
Negotiation & Advocacy: Ability to advocate for technology-driven solutions and push for collaboration agreements between Lepton and government agencies.
