Senior Software Developer (.Net)

Lepton Software is Location Analytics Company with specialization into Telecom sector with more than 20 years
of experience. We are also a Premier Google Maps & Cloud Platform partner. Lepton’s flagship product,
Network Access is a cloud/Web based network management solution that helps Communication Service
Providers efficiently plan, design, document and maintain their network. Network Access provides an open,
configurable, and scalable geospatial environment supporting fiber & other network equipment used by both
fixed and mobile operators.

Lepton is looking for a Sr . Software Developer (.NET) with experience in building high-performing, scalable,
enterprise-grade applications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
 Instrumental in preparing SRS, detailed design document, case diagrams, data flow diagrams, class diagrams.
 Scripting and Programming for varied solutions.
 Constructing specifications and determining operational feasibility.
 Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback & experience on application deployment.
 Writing database script procedures, function & triggers.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
 C# Programming Language:
o Mastery in C# language features including object-oriented programming (OOP), generics, LINQ,
and asynchronous programming with async/await.
o Proficiency in advanced concepts such as delegates, events, lambda expressions, and extension
methods.
 ASP.NET Framework:
o Extensive experience in building web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms or ASP.NET MVC.
o Proficiency in ASP.NET Core for developing modern, cross-platform web applications.
o Familiarity with Razor syntax, middleware, dependency injection, and other ASP.NET Core
features.
 .NET Core/.NET Framework:
o In-depth knowledge of the .NET Core/.NET Framework and its ecosystem.
o Experience in developing and maintaining applications targeting different versions of the .NET
framework.
o Understanding of cross-platform development capabilities offered by .NET Core.
 Web Development Technologies:
o Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills for building responsive and interactive web interfaces.
o Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, or React.
o Understanding of client-side scripting, AJAX, and asynchronous programming patterns.
 Database Technologies:
o Proficiency in SQL and database design concepts for developing and optimizing database
schemas.
o Experience in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle and MySQL.
o Familiarity with database migration tools and techniques for managing database changes.
 Web Services and APIs:
o Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API or ASP.NET
Core MVC.
o Knowledge of SOAP-based web services and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) for
legacy integration scenarios.
 Testing and Quality Assurance:
o Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest for writing automated tests.
o Experience in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD)
practices.
o Understanding of mocking frameworks for isolating dependencies in unit tests.
 Version Control Systems:
o Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git for source code management.
o Experience in branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews for collaborative
development.
o Knowledge of Git workflows and best practices for team-based development.
 Software Design and Architecture:
o Ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures using design patterns and
SOLID principles.
o Experience in architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, microservices, and domain-driven design
(DDD).
o Familiarity with architectural styles for distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
 Troubleshooting and Debugging:
o Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues in development and
production environments.
o Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for troubleshooting code, performance
bottlenecks, and runtime errors.
o Ability to analyze log files, stack traces, and diagnostic data to identify root causes of issues.
 Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
o Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments using
tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
o Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker for packaging applications and
orchestrating deployments with Kubernetes.
 Communication and Collaboration:
o Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including
product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
o Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and participate in project
planning and estimation.
o Experience in mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and sharing best
practices within the team.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET:
 5-7 years of IT experience.
 B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ IT or MCA would be preferred.
 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 Candidate should hold 60% & above in 10th, 12th and Graduation.
