About Business Head – Telecom Profile 

Lepton has a suite of products and services, particularly catering to the telecom industry (including wireless,  wireline, fibre and cable). Presently it gets revenues from many geographies, including India and SAARC,  Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe. Lepton is looking for a BU Head who can build on top of the current  foundation and accelerate the growth of the vertical.  

The ideal candidate should have 12-15 years of experience of having sold to Telecom industry players. A  knowledge and having sold in the geospatial products area is an added plus. The candidate should have the  hunger to use this opportunity and the Lepton platform to become an industry leader.  

Job Responsibility 

As BU head, the person would – 

Design and define the growth strategy in consultation with the CEO. This strategy would include  o Sales Strategy  

Inputs to the product roadmap strategy 

Execute the strategy through –  

Own sales efforts on the ground  

A team of salespeople, some of whom are already in the company  

The candidate should be a hands-on leader who does not mind getting hands dirty and leads from the front.
